Available Year Round By Request

Where

Located on Southern Vancouver Island, The Juan de Fuca trail is a MUST do for trail runners seeking a true coastal experience. Beautiful and rugged, this trail will draw you in like magic and challenge you in all the best ways. You will feel a huge sense of accomplishment in completing this epic!

Don’t be fooled into thinking that this trail is “only” 47km. It is extremely technical, the ongoing roots and rocks, slick mud and constantly undulating terrain provide a relentless experience for even the best of the best runners! Keep your eyes out for whales and bears throughout the trip!

There are various options in how we tackle this trail. One very long, big mega day likely finishing with a headlamp on or, two days done as a fastpack! Both are GREAT options depending on the experience, fitness and goal of the group!
A detailed list of “What to Bring and How to Pack” will be sent out to help you prepare prior to the trip.

We rate this trip as intermediate to advanced, due to the technical nature of the trail and the average per KM time. Participants should have previous trail running experience in technical terrain (ie North Shore Vancouver, Whistler, Squamish type trails) and be comfortable being on their feet using a walk/run approach for 8hrs a day. Please ask us if you are unsure of your fitness and ability.

Inquire now for 2023 to book your group. Jen has personally run this trail over 2 dozen times!

If you have a small group of friends who would like to experience this trail in either 1 mega day or as a 2 day supported adventure, please inquire! Custom rates and packages with various levels of support can be arranged.

We gratefully acknowledge that this trip takes place on the unceded traditional lands of the Ditidaht, and Pacheedaht First Nations People. We thank them for sharing their lands with us.
